SNN Airport has a number of currency exchange desks in the terminal building. All the currency exchange desks open early in the morning around 5.00 am.

The three currency exchange desks are in the departures area, in the check-in area and in the Customs hall. There is no bank on the grounds of Shannon Airport. There are a number of ATM withdrawal machines in the terminal building.
There is an ATM machine in the centre of the arrivals hall. All major debit cards and credit cards are accepted at Shannon Airport. Some of the shops offer a cash-back option when you purchase with your debit card, you can request an extra amount of cash in your change.

The tax refund desks are situated in the departures lounge. All travellers outside EU countries are allowed to reclaim the VAT tax. This is a sales tax on retail goods in the Republic of Ireland. Don’t forget to reclaim your vat refund in the terminal building.
